Washington: A top US Air Force officer has suggested that a war with China over the Taiwan issue could happen as early as 2025 as forces begin preparations.
According to the World News Agency, the head of the US Air Mobility Command, General Mike Munihan, while continuing to instruct his forces to prepare for war and advance units, has warned that a war with China may break out in the beginning of 2025 over the issue of Taiwan.
General Mike Munihan has urged his commanders to start making more war preparations now. Go to the firing range, fire a clip and practice aiming for the head.
The head of the US Air Mobility Command presented all these things to the government through a memorandum which was also confirmed by the Pentagon and now its contents have been revealed for the first time on social media.
In the memorandum, as an argument for the expected war, General Mike Munihan took the position that there will be presidential elections in Taiwan next year, in which Chinese President Xi Jinping will accuse the United States of military aggression and provide an excuse to impose a war.
Meanwhile, a Pentagon spokesman confirmed General Mike Munihan’s memorandum and said that in recent months, China appears to be speeding up its time frame for taking over Taiwan.
It should be noted that China conducted large-scale military exercises in August last year when US Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan. China had also threatened to attack him to stop him from visiting.
