Karachi: Pridi Police arrested the leader of the Afghan gang along with his accomplices involved in the robbery of mobile phones worth more than 35 lakhs from a mobile phone shop located in Saddar Mobile Market.
According to the police, in the CCTV footage obtained from the scene of the robbery, a 3-member Afghan group was seen fleeing after the robbery. On the tip-off, during a successful raid, the accused involved in the incident were arrested, while one accomplice escaped from the spot.
According to the police, the arrested robbers were identified as Jalal and Sultan, from whose possession 2 pistols and a motorcycle were recovered, which were stolen from Orangi Town.
The police say that the arrested robbers are being interrogated in connection with the incident of robbery in the mobile phone shop and the incidents of street crimes.
