Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s nephew and focal person Barrister Hasan Niazi has been transferred from Lahore to Karachi.
On Tuesday afternoon, Karachi Police officers arrived at Karachi Airport from Lahore on a Qaumi Airline flight after receiving permission from the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court to take PTI leader Hassan Niazi to Karachi and a two-day transit remand. So there was a heavy police presence at the airport, while PTI leaders and workers were also present.
Hassan Niazi was taken out of the airport under tight security. From where the District East Investigation Department took Hasan Niazi into custody from the airport and took him away, officers and officials of three police stations were present at the airport while special security measures have been taken by the police during the transfer. .
Hasan Niazi while talking informally to the media said that he was ready to be arrested. He said that our goal is big and arrest is a very small thing. In response to a question, he said that he never used abusive words against the country’s institutions and the country. There will be no greater patriot than us.

According to police officials, Hasan Niazi has been shifted from the airport to Kogdap police station where he will be interrogated and then he will be produced in court today (Wednesday). It should be noted that a case has been registered against Hasan Niazi in the Jamshed Quarters police station under other provisions including inflammatory speech in the complaint of a citizen named Muhammad Iqbal.
Meanwhile, the state has filed an application for cancellation of bail of Imran Khan’s nephew Hasan Niazi in the case of interference and incitement. The court declared it admissible and issued a notice of March 30 to the accused. Additional Sessions Judge Sikandar Khan also issued notices to other parties.
It is pleaded in the petition that the judicial magistrate granted bail without hearing the state, the prosecutor was not even informed about the notice and the magistrate decided, the decision of the magistrate to grant bail is illegal in the eyes of law, Hassan Niazi case. I am nominated and he is not entitled to bail because the accused is charged with attempted murder of police personnel, so the court should cancel the bail.
