A bill to amend the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure was presented in the National Assembly session.
Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar presented the bill to amend the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure in the National Assembly.
While speaking in the House, Azam Nazir Tarar said that we have also seen the era when hundred moto notices have been taken on minor matters.
He said that in the past, some automatic notices led to laughter, some automatic notices affected the reputation of the Supreme Court.
The Law Minister further said that the Law Ministry presented the Judicial Reforms Bill in the Cabinet, which was approved by the Cabinet.
He said that in the current rules of the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice has the authority to take hundred motions.
