Taliban officials have congratulated the Afghan cricket team for winning the T20 International series against Pakistan for the first time.
In this regard, Sohail Shaheen, the permanent representative of Afghanistan in the United Nations and the head of the Taliban Qatar office, has issued a statement on the social media website Twitter.
In his statement, Sohail Shaheen congratulated the Afghanistan team and the nation for their success in the T20 series against Pakistan.
It should be noted that Afghanistan has defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the second match of the series consisting of 3 T20 matches and has taken a decisive lead of 0-2 in the series.
The final match of the series between the two teams will be played at the Sharjah Stadium today.
