Lahore: Azhar Ali, the former test captain of the national cricket team, spoke in defense of the national team after the defeat in the first T20 against the Afghanistan team.
In a post on Twitter, Azhar Ali said that it is a pity that people on social media have started criticizing the selection after a defeat.
It is so unfortunate that people on social media straight away start criticizing the selection after a defeat it’s easy saying things in hindsight. They talk about building bench strength but they can’t even be patient. All these players have the potential to bounce back.

He said that people talk about bench strength but they don’t have patience. All of these players have the potential to return to contention.
It should be noted that in the first match of T20 series played in Sharjah on Friday, Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets. This was Afghanistan’s first victory against Pakistan in any international match.
