Los Angeles: Currently, a ball-like robot is undergoing crowdfunding that not only connects you with your family, soothes them but also guards your home 24 hours a day. It is named Anabot which is built under artificial intelligence.
Although there are many types of home robots, the Annabot has been called the ‘always companion’ and has been named the first home robot at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show. It is an amalgamation of technology, artificial intelligence and useful applications. Its purpose is also to keep all the members of the house happy.
The ball-shaped Annabot has a 1080-pixel HD camera, powerful speakers, Wi-Fi connectivity, microphone, high-speed motors and other features. The robot can be controlled by remote control, mobile app and touch screen. Along with AI technology, it continuously learns and tries to recognize the household as well.
Thanks to the app, the magic ball always keeps you connected to the house and runs to your children and other family members. At night, this robot monitors the movements and movements of the surroundings and starts making noise from the speaker on any suspicious matter.
If its charging is low, it will automatically connect to the ground charger to recharge its batteries and recharge again. At night, with the help of V-Slam technology, it keeps scanning the surroundings like a radar. If you say ‘Falumi’, it will follow you. It also includes Alexa, which will pour out heaps of information when asked.
With facial recognition technology, Annabot recognizes each person in the household by name and face. If you have children at home and you want them to stay away from any potential danger, this robot creates a no-go area and places a virtual net against them. Now if the child goes there it will immediately alert you through the speaker and also notify you on the smartphone.
