2 people were killed, 9 were missing and many were injured due to the explosion in the chocolate factory located in West Reading, Pennsylvania.
After the explosion, flames rose from the factory. Police Chief Wayne Holden said that rescue operations are ongoing at the scene.
The chocolate factory has been established since 1948 where 850 employees work.
The explosion destroyed one building of the factory while another building nearby was damaged.
The police chief says that the reasons for the explosion are being determined.
