The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has said that the staff of the embassy and their families will be evacuated today after the firing on the embassy in Iran.
It should be noted that two days ago, one staff member was killed and two others were injured when an armed person opened fire on the Azeri embassy in Tehran.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has called for a comprehensive investigation into the incident and expressed his condolences to Azerbaijan and the family of the deceased.
The suspect who opened fire at the embassy of Azerbaijan was arrested. The President of Azerbaijan termed the incident as terrorism.
