Islamabad: A 39% decline was recorded in 8 months in the sales of vehicles of less than 1000 cc power across the country.
According to the data of All Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association, during the period from July to February, the sale of 31,285 units of cars of power less than 1000 cc was recorded, which is 39 percent less than the same period of the previous fiscal year.

It should be noted that due to the shortage of dollars in the country and the State Bank not opening LCs for imports, the matter of importing raw materials has become very serious and the local car manufacturer Indus Motors has closed its plant for four days. It was announced to be completely closed.
