Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved 6 development projects worth Rs 21.28 billion.
A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Measures Ahsan Iqbal. The meeting was attended by Secretary Planning Ministry, Chief Economist, members of Planning Commission and representatives of various ministries and divisions.
The Forum approved the installation of weather surveillance radar in Multan at a cost of Rs 6188.759 million, construction of a 250-bed hospital in Skardu, construction of road to Gachak (revised), two-lane DI Khan (D) at a cost of Rs 3097.045 million. (I Khan Development Package) and approved projects for capacity building and institutional strengthening of Planning Commission at a cost of Rs.2086.299 million.
