Karachi, six bandits arrested including mobile phone software engineer

Karachi: Bilal Colony and Sir Syed Police have claimed to have arrested 6 alleged robbers including a mobile phone expert software engineer.

The arrested suspects are involved in dozens of incidents of snatching mobile phones and cash within the limits of various police stations of District Central. The arrested accused were identified as Ataullah alias Kohistani, Jabbar Khan son of Alam Khan, Shaukat Zada ​​son of Shawat Khan, Sattar Jamali, Didar and Noman. Six 30-bore pistol loaded magazines, 30 rounds and 15 stolen mobile phones, laptops, computers and cash were recovered from the possession of the accused.

The arrested accused, Attaullah, is a software engineer and an expert in changing the IMEI of mobile phones. The accused said that he is an expert in changing the IMEI of non-PTA approved mobile phones, earlier he used to change the IMEI of the mobile phones of these dacoits occasionally and later he changed the IMEI of several mobile phones while working with them.

The accused further said that the IMEI of the old and damaged mobile phone used to be placed on top of the stolen mobile phone.

Accused Sattar Jamali and Didar are the main accused of White Corolla gang, the accused are residents of Shikarpur Garhi Yasin. The accused used to rob citizens who were leaving the bank with money, while their accomplice Amir used to drive a rickshaw and do reiki.

The accused confessed to snatching 70 lakhs in Sachal area, 12 lakhs from Yusuf Plaza area and 12 lakhs from Bilal Colony area. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused and investigation has been started.
