3 people who were kept in captivity on the roof of North Nazimabad police station were rescued


In Karachi, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell raided the North Nazimabad Police Station and rescued 3 people who were kept in custody on the roof of the police station.

According to the SSP, the police officials demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from the kidnappers.

The police officer was settled with the family for 5 lakh rupees, the families of the hostages also paid 4 lakh.

The SSP says that the kidnappers were called to a hotel in North Nazimabad to sell rare scorpions.

Police officials say that 5 people involved in the incident have been arrested. During the arrest, a ransom amount of 4 lakh rupees has also been recovered.

SHO North Nazimabad has been suspended and demoted, the case of the incident will be registered in North Nazimabad police station.
