Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo has said that gas and electricity are not available in different areas of the province during Ramadan, which is unbearable, and will register a protest with the federal government.
The Chief Minister said in his statement on Friday that the federal government has given assurances regarding the availability of gas and electricity in the month of Ramadan, but they are not being implemented and the people of the province are suffering due to this.
He said that non-availability of gas and electricity during Ramadan is unbearable and will register a protest with the federal government.
The chief minister directed to set up Ramadan cheap bazaars for the public in every district of the province including Quetta and said that ‘cooperation will be obtained from utility stores and traders for the cheap bazaar’. He directed to crack down on hoarders and profiteers to give relief to the people.
Abdul Qudus Nzanjo said that there will be no lapse in supplying flour to the public at controlled rates, and daily reports should be sent regarding price control, security situation and cheap markets.
