Domestic foreign exchange reserves have increased for the eighth consecutive week, as a result of which foreign exchange reserves crossed the level of 10 billion dollars.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, on March 17 this year, the country’s foreign exchange reserves were 10 billion 13 million dollars.
According to the Central Bank, between March 10 and 17, domestic foreign exchange reserves have increased by 292.4 million dollars.
Reserves of State Bank increased by 279.6 million dollars to 4.59 billion dollars, while commercial banks’ deposits increased by 1.28 million dollars to 5.54 billion dollars.
