Bollywood beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has revealed that she was dropped from the cast of some of Shah Rukh Khan’s hit films.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan while giving an interview to host Sammy Grewal said that not only in Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Chalte Chalte’ but in five other films including ‘Veer Zaara’, other heroines were cast in my place.

She said, “I was told about some films that I and Shah Rukh Khan will work together in these films, but then suddenly I find that without giving any explanation, other actresses are cast in these films.” It has been done and why it was done, I have not yet got the answer.

Sammy Grewal asked Aishwarya how did you feel about being dropped from such big films?

Responding to this question, the actress said, ‘When you have no explanation for what happened, you are obviously completely shocked, confused and in pain’.

Hearing Aishwarya’s answer, Sammy Grewal also asked the question, ‘Have you never asked Shah Rukh Khan the reason?’

In response to this question, he said, “It is not in my nature. If someone feels the need to explain something to me, he will do it himself.”

He said, “If Shah Rukh Khan never gave an explanation, it means that he does not want to give an explanation, so I have never asked and will never ask.”

Shahrukh Khan also apologized while talking about this issue in one of his interviews.

“I am personally very saddened by the fact that Aishwarya was a very close friend and I have done many wonderful films with her in the past,” he said.

He added, “As a producer, my hands are tied because there are many people involved in the film’s team and we wanted to complete the film in 3 to 4 months.”

Shah Rukh Khan finished his speech and said that “I am sure that a film can be made with Aishwarya in such a short period of time, but I am very sad about what happened, it should not have happened”.
