The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says that Pakistan has to ensure financial support from other financial institutions and friendly countries, after these financial assurances, they will be able to take the next step with Pakistan.
In the briefing by the IMF, it has been stated that Pakistan’s economy is facing challenges like slow growth rate and high inflation.
According to the International Monetary Fund, Pakistan’s economy is also facing challenges such as major financial needs, all of which have come to light due to the devastating floods in Pakistan.
The IMF says that discussions are ongoing between the IMF and the Pakistani authorities to complete the 9th review, and the Pakistani authorities have started implementing decisive measures.
The International Monetary Fund further stated in the briefing that these decisive steps are aimed at stabilizing the Pakistani economy and restoring confidence.
The IMF also says that timely financial support from external partners will be critical to ensuring the success of the review.
