Threat to the female judge, Imran's decision on the extension of warrant suspension is reserved

The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has reserved its decision on the request to extend the warrant suspension of Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the case of threatening a female judge.

Prosecutor Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani who requested that Imran Khan be bound to appear on a future date.

The judge said that if PTI’s lawyers come at 10:30, the case will be heard only then, and arguments of the parties will be heard only at 10:30.

Along with this, the hearing of the case was adjourned till 10:30.

After Imran Khan’s lawyer Gauhar Ali Khan reached the court, the hearing started again in the court.

Judge Faizan Haider Gilani addressed lawyer Gohar Ali and said that you are talking strangely, you are requesting for March 30, while the arrest warrant is dated March 29.

The prosecutor said that it meant that the court should not even dare to issue an arrest warrant, arguments should be given on the merits of the application for suspension of the warrant, the accused is the beloved boy of the court but not so much a favorite child.

On this occasion, lawyer Gohar Ali requested to extend Imran Khan’s warrant of suspension till March 30.

The judge said that the court can issue any decision on March 29.

Lawyer Gauhar Ali said that the warrants related to Toshakhana case are suspended till March 30.

The judge asked whether Imran Khan has ever appeared in the case of a female judge.

The prosecutor said that Imran Khan has never appeared in this case, the copy of the case is yet to be given, lawyer Gohar Ali does not have a power of attorney in the female judge case.

The court reserved the decision on the request of Imran Khan’s legal team.

Imran Khan’s warrant suspension will be extended till March 30 or not, the decision will be pronounced after some time.
