The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification of a 5-member JIT to investigate the cases of terrorism against the PTI leadership.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed will be the convener of the JIT.
Officers of ISI, IB and MI have also been included in the JIT.
Islamabad Police DIG Headquarters Owais Ahmed is also among the members of the JIT.
Apart from this, a representative of the Punjab Special Branch will also be a member of the JIT.
It should be noted that the JIT has been established under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
