Lahore: The Lahore police started rounding up the workers before the PTI rally at Pakistan Minar on March 26, while PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the process of arresting the workers has started after the threatening conversation of IG Punjab.

In this regard, the officials of PTI said that the police have detained Azhar Mashwani, the focal person of PTI for social media, and Malik Qaiser, the organizer of the meeting from Dataganj Bakhsh town.

According to PTI, Malik Qaiser Data is the president of Union Council 62 of Ganj Bakhsh. Apart from this, the detention of Mian Nadeem was strongly condemned by PTI Lahore.

Central Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry said on the social media website Twitter that Azhar Mashwani has been abducted after the threatening conversation of IG Punjab, Azhar should be produced in court immediately and details of the charges should be given.

Addressing the IG Punjab, he said that if (you) think that after killing and torturing Zal Shah, he will not be criticized, then he is living in a fool’s paradise.

Fawad Chaudhry in another tweet said that so far around 750 people (of PTI) have been arrested, I thought that Ramadan is the month of peace and the devils will stop but these devils don’t even realize that the poor People have been picked up and put in jails, their homes and families will be in agony, especially when the only earner will be the jail?

Azhar Mashwani was abducted by unknown persons from Lahore, Farrukh Habib

In this context, PTI leader Farrukh Habib said about the detention of Azhar Mashwani that he was arrested from outside his house, Azhar Mashwani was ‘abducted’ from Lahore by unknown persons.

He severely criticized the government and said that they cannot end the real freedom struggle with such tactics, they cannot enslave these youths by arresting their free thinking.

Speeches against judiciary and institutions will not be allowed, notification

It should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was given permission to hold a rally on Minar Pakistan on March 26.

On March 22, after the district administration administered the oath to PTI, permission was given for the rally, a formal notification of permission was issued by Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider.

According to which the Jalsa administration will be responsible for the security of the stage, women and all enclosures and will ensure uninterrupted power supply in all relevant areas, speeches against judiciary and institutions will not be allowed.
