The body of the student who shot two people in the US state of Colorado has been recovered by the police.
The student was identified as 17-year-old Austin Lyle. Police say that during a search for weapons in East High School, the suspect pulled out a pistol and started firing.
The incident took place at 9:50 a.m. Police officers and medical personnel immediately reached the scene.
Two members of the school administration were shot, one is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at the hospital while the other has been discharged from the hospital.
Police Chief Ron Thomas says there was an agreement with the suspect that he would be searched whenever he came to school.
He said that this arrangement was made because the accused Lyal had received complaints in the past as well.
The accused’s car was found at 4:30 pm last evening, but his body was found four hours later a few steps away from the car.
