Islamabad: Pakistan Day was celebrated with traditional enthusiasm in Pakistani embassies across the world.
According to the official news agency APP, flag-hoisting ceremonies were held on the occasion of Pakistan Day in Pakistani embassies in various countries, including India and Russia, and the national anthem was sung.
The embassies’ employees, their families and the Pakistani community participated in these ceremonies. On this occasion, special prayers were offered for the country’s security, development and prosperity.
Governor of Pakistan High Commission in India Salman Sharif unfurled the flag. On this occasion, special messages of President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif were read out, in which they congratulated the nation on Pakistan Day and paid tribute to the founder of Pakistan and other great leaders.
On this occasion, special documentary programs were shown regarding the approval of the Pakistan resolution and the struggle for the establishment of Pakistan.
The Pakistan Day ceremony was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of Pakistan Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan and the national flag was hoisted. Nazim-ul-Moor Syed Faraz Hussain Zaidi unfurled the flag on the occasion of Union Pakistan in Brussels.
Pakistani Ambassador to Dubai Faisal Niaz Tirmizi unfurled the national flag and highlighted the importance of Pakistan Day.
Pakistani seafarer Sajid Bilal unfurled the flag on the occasion of Pakistan Day in Egypt.
