A grand flag-hoisting ceremony was organized on the occasion of Pakistan Day at the Pakistani Embassy in Tokyo, in which Pakistan’s ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar hoisted the Pakistani flag along with the national anthem.
A large number of community members including the officials of the Embassy of Pakistan were also present on this occasion.
After hoisting the flag, the Pakistani ambassador read out the messages of the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan in the community hall.
On this occasion, Raza Bashir Tarar praised the Pakistani community living in Japan for the promotion of Pak-Japan relations and their excellent role for Pakistan.
He urged the Pakistani community to play a role in making the name of Pakistan bright in Japan with their best morals and character.
It should be noted that on the occasion of March 23, the leading Japanese newspapers have also published special supplements related to Pakistan-Japan relations and Pakistan Day.
