The meeting of the central Sighting of the Crescent Committee is going on to see the moon of Ramadan 1444 AH.
The meeting in Peshawar is chaired by the Chairman of Central Viewing Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
Members of central zonal sighting of the crescent committees are also participating in the meeting.
Representatives of Department of Astronomy, Meteorology and Department of Science and Technology are also participating in the meeting.
On the other hand, the meteorological department says that there are chances of moon sighting, but the weather is cloudy.
According to the Meteorological Department, the moon is likely to be seen in Karachi till 7:28 am, while the moon is likely to be seen in Nokundi and Jiwani areas of Balochistan till 7:55 am.
