Ahlul-Sunnat wa-ul-Jamaat Karachi leader and Provincial Legal Adviser Saleem Khatri was killed in a murderous attack in New Karachi.
According to the police, 55-year-old Saleem Khatri was murdered near his house in New Karachi Sector 5G.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Maruf Usman, the deceased was standing at a paan shop located in New Karachi Sector 5G within the limits of Bilal Colony police station when 4 accused persons who came on a motorcycle opened fire on him.
He said that Saleem Khatri was hit by 6 bullets.
Saleem Khatri was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital immediately after the murderous attack, where the doctors confirmed his death on arrival.
According to the spokesman of Ahl-e-Sunnah wa-ul-Jamaat, the deceased was the leader of Ahl-e-Sunnah wa-ul-Jamaat Karachi division and the provincial legal advisor.
