Dark clouds covered Karachi, with the arrival of rain clouds from the Arabian Sea, heavy, light rain and drizzle are continuing in different areas of Karachi with strong winds.

As soon as it rained in different areas of Karachi, many motorcyclists fell down and got injured due to slippage on the roads.

Power went out in several areas of the city with the first drop of rain.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of moderate and heavy rain in Karachi, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad in the next few hours.

The rain system is likely to continue to affect Karachi till tomorrow.

According to the meteorological analyst, the rain clouds have come from the coast of Balochistan towards Karachi, which will cause rain on the coastal belt of Sindh including Karachi.

Meanwhile, coastal Balochistan including Turbat, Kech, Mand, Awaran, Gwadar has experienced stormy rain and hailstorm.

Many people were injured due to hailstorm in Awran, gardens and crops were damaged due to hailstorm.

Heavy hail also occurred in Barkhan, Rakhni and Chapar.

Weather turned cold in Toba Achakzai due to heavy rain.

PDMA has issued an alert for the entry of powerful systems across Balochistan.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is also expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today.
