Rawalpindi: ISI Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki was martyred during an encounter with terrorists in South Waziristan.
According to ISPR, there was a fierce exchange of fire during the encounter with the terrorists in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan, in which Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was martyred while fighting.
According to ISPR, 7 personnel were injured in the exchange of fire, including 2 seriously, Brigadier Barki and his team put up a brave resistance against the terrorists during the encounter.
According to ISPR, Brigadier Berki belonged to the Inter-Services Intelligence, and played an important role in tracking down and eliminating terrorists involved in brutal attacks in Pakistan, especially the APS Peshawar attack.

According to ISPR, Brigadier Barki Shaheed was related to DI Khan, he was commissioned in Pakistan’s Meenaz Frontier Force Regiment on 12 October 1995. Brigadier Barki is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. .
The ISPR says that the great son of the beloved country was martyred in eradicating the scourge of terrorism. The officer sacrificed his life for the peace of the motherland. Pakistan’s defense forces and intelligence agencies reiterate their determination and resolve to eradicate the scourge of terrorism from every inch of the country.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s tribute to the martyr
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif paid tribute to Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki and expressed his sympathy to the martyr’s family.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki sacrificed himself for the honor and sanctity of the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the officers and men of the Pakistan Army have made great sacrifices for the end of terrorism, may Allah raise the ranks of the martyrs and give patience to the families. Amen
The Prime Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of the jawans who were injured in the clash with the terrorists and also paid tribute to the jawans for their vigorous fight against the terrorists.

Condemnation of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari
PP Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki and prayed for the speedy recovery of the youths who were injured in the incident.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in a statement that Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki sacrificed his life for the sake of the peace of the motherland, the entire nation shares in the grief of his family.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki was a brave son of Pakistan, his sacrifice will not go in vain, terrorists will be found and removed, they will have to pay a heavy price.
