The government's decision to deal strictly with the elements spreading chaos in the country

Islamabad: A meeting on political and national affairs was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which it was decided to deal strictly with the elements who are spreading chaos in the country while considering the overall political situation in detail.

According to Express News, the leaders of the coalition parties attended the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s House. In the meeting which lasted for 6 hours, the overall situation of peace and order including economic, political, internal and external affairs of the country was discussed in detail.

‘Two separate standards of justice are not acceptable’

It was said in the meeting that after the recent behavior of the judiciary with Imran Khan and his associates, the impression of unequal justice is deepening, two different standards of justice in one country are not acceptable.

In the meeting, it was also decided to take strict action according to the law against police officers and officials in the ‘attack’ on the judicial commission, violence, vandalism and arson.

In the meeting, the ‘attacks and violence’ on the orders of Chairman PTI Imran Khan on the Police and Rangers personnel were strongly condemned and this behavior was unacceptable and said that the violent training involving persons belonging to banned organizations. Harassment of the officers and personnel of the state institutions by the winning jathas is very alarming which cannot be tolerated by any state, therefore strict action should be taken against these elements under the law.

The meeting termed PTI as a group of trained militants of banned organizations and said that all the proofs and proofs are there so action will be taken in this regard as per law.

Meanwhile, the meeting was also apprised of the Prime Minister’s initiatives for economy, restoration of IMF program, public relief including Kisan package, free supply of flour to poor families in Ramadan, 50 per cent in petrol price for low income people. Other programs include special discount scheme of Rs., conduct of special CSS examination for youth across the country, promotion of solar energy, interest-free and subsidized loans for youth, rehabilitation of flood victims.

Strongly condemn the campaign against the Army Chief

In the meeting, the Prime Minister’s measures to provide maximum relief to the people despite the difficult situation were appreciated and full confidence was expressed in him.

Apart from this, the participants of the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister strongly condemned the campaign being conducted on social media and abroad against the institutions, especially the Army Chief, and said that Pakistanis living abroad should not be a part of this nefarious agenda. The participants said that the elements who are running a dirty campaign against the martyrs of Lasbela are sitting abroad and running this nefarious campaign through social media and protests in different parts of the world. The meeting decided to take strict action against all these elements.

The participants of the meeting termed the alleged audio leak of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and PTI lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim as alarming and condemned inappropriate talk about Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Decision to call a joint session of Parliament

In the meeting, it was decided to call a joint session of the Parliament on March 22, in which important decisions will be taken to ensure the functioning of the state.
