Anti-Terrorism Court;  Interim bail granted to PTI leaders

Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court approved the interim bails of Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders.

On the occasion of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan’s appearance in the court, while hearing the case registered against PTI leaders in police station CTD, the judge remarked that there have been so many accused that something will have to be seen in history. The judge, speaking to Ehsan Niazi, asked him to improve the practice of walking at the gate in the future.

Later, the court granted interim bail to PTI leaders Asad Qaiser, Amir Kayani, Umar Ayub, Hamada Zahar, Muhammad Asim, Farrukh Habib, Hasan Khan Niazi and Shibli Faraz. The Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to all PTI leaders till April 3 on a bond of Rs 50,000 each.

It may be noted that the Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders were booked for the crime of rioting outside the Judicial Complex Islamabad, in which Imran Khan and 17 PTI leaders have been named.

Also, yesterday in the case of judicial complex emergency visit, the local court of Islamabad ordered to send all 60 accused including PTI leader Amjad Khan Niazi to Adiala jail on judicial remand.
