Islamabad: A damage report was compiled in the riots outside the Judicial Complex Islamabad, including details of law enforcement agencies injured.
According to the report, 47 officers and personnel of Islamabad Police were injured during the riot, while 34 injured of Islamabad Police were brought to Pims Hospital. Along with this, three FC officials were injured in the commotion and were brought to Pims Hospital. Most of the injured suffered injuries from batons on legs and arms while some were affected by tear gas shelling.
Workers also damaged vehicles and government property. During the commotion, a report was also prepared on the damage to the vehicles of Islamabad and Punjab police. 15 vehicles were damaged by the activists, in which all the windows of two Faisalabad police buses were broken and one window of Chakwal police bus was broken.
Two pick-up vehicles and two motorcycles of Islamabad police were set on fire. Along with this, a bomb disposal squad vehicle was completely destroyed.
The workers also seized the protective equipment of the Islamabad Police and some workers were seen wearing protective equipment. Islamabad Police is identifying the people with the help of Safe City Camera, after which legal action will be taken.
