Former US President Donald Trump has expressed suspicion that he will be arrested next week, calling for workers to protest if he is arrested.
In a post on social media, Trump said illegal leaks from a corrupt and politicized district attorney’s office indicated the leading Republican candidate and former US president would be arrested on Tuesday next week.
“Our people will come back to protest,” Trump said, noting what charges his possible arrest would be.
It should be noted that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office is investigating the case of Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen giving film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 during the 2016 election campaign.
