Karachi: During the alleged encounters, the police arrested 8 accused in injured condition while one accused was killed.
According to Express News, late night Pak Colony police during patrol signaled the suspicious persons to stop, when the suspects started firing at the police. In the exchange of fire, one accused was killed while the other accused was arrested with injuries.
The police conducted a search operation on the information of the presence of eight to ten suspects.
Similarly, 2 suspects were arrested in an alleged police encounter near Safora Goth Sirsyed Chowk. The arrested accused have been identified as Ramzan and Salman. Weapons and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
On the other hand, a robber was arrested in an injured condition in an alleged police encounter between police and robbers on Kalakot Faqir Muhammad Dara Khan Road.
Zaman Town Police signaled 3 suspicious persons riding a motorcycle to stop. The suspects opened fire on the police. Two accused were arrested in the injured condition due to retaliatory firing by the police while the accomplice escaped. The arrested accused were identified as Shaan and Hamza. A mobile phone and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
On the other hand, near New Karachi Salem Center, the police arrested two suspects Shahzad and Fawad Ali after the alleged encounter and recovered weapons and a motorcycle.
