According to sources, the scanning machines capable of screening passengers and baggage for harmful devices and explosives will be gifted to the Civil Aviation Authority by the British Department for Security.
The purpose of installing the machinery is to modernize the checking of passengers and their luggage coming from the UK.
Civil aviation sources say that this technology will be provided to civil aviation at other airports later.
