Well-known actress and singer Bushra Ansari has expressed a strong reaction to the death sentence of Zahir Jafar in Noor Muqadam murder case.
Bushra Ansari has expressed her hope for the implementation of Zahir Jafar’s death sentence in Noor Muqaddam case of Islamabad High Court on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
He wrote in his post that ‘I wish it would happen now!’
He wrote that ‘But it was funny then that he would be cut to pieces, hanging is a death sentence. It should have been a lesson so that anyone would have been afraid!’
He further wrote that ‘legal stakes will come to the fore here, now Abid Malhi and Shahnawaz Ameer should also die a shameful death’.
It should be noted that the main culprit Zahir Jaafar and his co-accused had challenged the sentences handed down by the trial court, on which a bench comprising Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Ijaz Ishaq had reserved the verdict on December 21.
The Islamabad High Court upheld the trial court’s death sentence of Zahir Jafar, the main culprit in the Noor Muqaddam murder case, and also dismissed the appeals against the sentence of co-accused Muhammad Iftikhar and Jan Muhammad.
