The caretaker cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to reopen the case of alleged corruption in BRT, on behalf of the caretaker provincial government, NAB and FIA will be asked to investigate BRT.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan.
Talking to Geo News, Caretaker Transport Minister Shahid Khattak said that in the cabinet meeting it has been decided to reopen the case of alleged corruption in BRT.
He said that NAB and FIA will be asked to investigate BRT.
Shahid Khattak said that there were complaints of corruption in MTIs and Policy Boards, on which the Cabinet also decided to abolish MTIs and Policy Boards.
The caretaker minister said that there was also a discussion in the meeting about the social media influencers who get monthly salary from the government and campaign for PTI sitting at home.
According to Shahid Khattak, in the meeting, where 7 billion rupees were spent on Peshawar beautification, there was also a question, while a committee was also established to provide full subsidy to the public in government flour during Ramadan.
