Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that the arrest of Imran Khan has nothing to do with the delay in the elections.
While talking to British broadcasting organizations, the Federal Minister said that Imran Khan is constantly telling lies, the government has nothing to do with his arrest.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that instead of cooperating with the law, Imran Khan is constantly breaking the law, the police is only implementing the court orders.
He said that there are corruption cases against Imran Khan for which he has to be arrested and presented in court.
The federal minister said that the police are being continuously attacked with petrol bombs, the police have no weapons of any kind.
He also said that 65 police personnel including DIG Operations Lahore have been injured.
