Gujranwala: Senior vice president of Muslim League (N) Maryam Nawaz has decided to contest elections from Gujranwala while Hamza Shehbaz has decided to contest elections from all three constituencies of Lahore.
According to sources, Maryam Nawaz will contest from PP-63 constituency and for this she has also obtained the election forms of PP-63 while the forms have been received through PML-N City Vice President Shoaib Butt.
PML-N sources said that Maryam Nawaz’s papers will be submitted to the Returning Officer’s office tomorrow and Shoaib Butt confirmed the receipt of Maryam Nawaz’s forms. It should be noted that in the 2018 elections, Ashraf Ansari was elected MPA from PP 63 constituency.
Ashraf Ansari was among the defected members of PML-N and later returned to PML-N.
On the other hand, Hamza Shehbaz has submitted nomination papers from PP146, PP147, PP163. PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz has submitted nomination papers from 3 constituencies of Lahore.
