Veteran Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt says she was nervous about playing the real-life role of her step-grandmother in the semi-autobiographical film of her father Mahesh Bhatt.
It is to be noted that Pooja also wore Dadi ki saree and mangalsutra in the 1998 film Zhom, the film also featured leading Bollywood actors Ajay Devgan, Sonali Bandre and the then very young Kunal Kemmu.
Pooja Bhatt played the role of a single mother in the film and Kunal Kemu played the role of her young son while Ajay Devgn played the role of the elder son.
During the conversation with the Indian media, Pooja said that she was actually afraid of taking this responsibility. That’s why I asked father to cast someone else for the role of grandmother but father refused saying that I am not asking you but saying that you have to play this role.
