Lahore: PML-N Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz visited her mother’s grave after arriving in Pakistan.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s plane landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport this evening. He was warmly welcomed by the League workers.
To welcome Maryam Nawaz, banners and posters have been displayed on the way from the airport to Jati Amra.
It should be noted that Maryam Nawaz has returned home after about 3 and a half months. She left for London in early October.
Later, Maryam Nawaz addressed a public meeting in Lahore and then she reached Jati Amra under tight security, then she attended her mother’s grave, laid a wreath and recited Fatiha.
Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and federal ministers belonging to PML-N also thanked the people, describing the reception of Maryam Nawaz as historic.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that ‘Alhamdulillah! Today, without a party call, the people have given a warm welcome to Maryam Nawaz and proved who the nation is with. Answered today. Thank you Pakistan’.
