The names of Prince Harry’s children Archie and Lilybet have been added to the new royal titles on the royal family’s official website.
According to international media reports, King Charles has allowed his grandson Archie and granddaughter Lilybet to use royal titles in order to improve his relationship with son Prince Harry.
Prince Harry’s children were previously known as Master Archie and Miss Lilybet, but have now been named ‘Prince Archie of Sussex’, meaning Prince Archie and shall be known as ‘Princess Lilybet of Sussex’ i.e. Princess Lilybet.
The report further states that King Charles promised to give all royal honors to his grandson and granddaughter after Queen Elizabeth’s death in September last year.
The move by King Charles comes after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expressed several concerns about the royal family.
It should be noted that the rules regarding the authority to attach royal titles to the names of children of the royal family were compiled by Queen Elizabeth’s grandfather, King George V, in 1917.
