Leader of Muslim League-N and Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal made voluntary additional payment of Tosha Khana gifts.
1 lakh 19 thousand rupees were deposited in the government treasury on behalf of the Minister of Planning.
According to Ahsan Iqbal’s letter, a carpet worth 1 lakh 39 thousand was obtained from Tosha Khana, the price of the carpet was paid as per the law 20 thousand rupees.
The federal minister said that the outstanding amount of the carpet has been deposited in the government treasury of 1 lakh 19 thousand rupees.
In the text of the letter, it was further stated that a men’s Rolex watch worth 15 lakh 50 thousand was obtained from Tosha Khana, 3 lakh 4 thousand rupees were paid for the watch taken from Tosha Khana according to the law, the rest of the watch was 12 lakh 46 A thousand rupees have also been deposited in the treasury.
Ahsan Iqbal said that I received the gifts in 2018 according to the prevailing procedure, there was no need to make additional payment as per law, I am making voluntary payment to end the allegation of taking undue advantage.
