Karachi: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Karachi has raided the head office of Bol News on suspicion of presence of non-customs duty paid goods under court orders.
The directorate team along with representatives of Shabbol News on Monday compiled an inventory of DSNGs, imported equipments, studio equipments, cameras, camera control units, monitors and other foreign items in the building.
It should be noted that the Directorate Customs Intelligence team issued a search warrant for the BOL TV building by the District Sessions Judge Zilla Sharqi and the permission given by the District and Sessions Judge to the Directorate Customs Intelligence for a full search of the BOL TV office. has conducted this raid on Bol TV building.
Sources said that this order was issued by the court on the suspicion of presence of non-custom paid DSNG and media equipment in Bol TV office. In the warrant, the customs authorities were ordered to conduct a thorough search of all rooms and parts of Bol TV.
Customs authorities have also been ordered to prepare and detain a complete inventory of non-customs-paid equipment. During the search of Bol News under court orders, Customs Intelligence officials also took video and photographs.
Sources said that the goods recovered during the raid by the Directorate of Customs Intelligence will be taken into custody and its value and duty will be determined. Prepared inventory of existing articles.
