A Jordanian citizen was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia. The convict’s family says he was tortured into confessing to drug charges.
Amnesty International called the execution of the Jordanian citizen extremely unfair.
In late 2022, the United Nations Human Rights Office also appealed for his release.
According to British media, the person sentenced to death, Hussain Abul Khair, was the driver of a Saudi national who was arrested in 2014 while crossing the border from Jordan to Saudi Arabia, accused of smuggling amphitheater mines.
