Arrest of PTI leader Arslan Taj in DC Kemari office attack case


Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and member of Sindh Assembly Arslan Taj has been arrested in a case filed in Site A police station on January 18. Arslan Taj will be produced in court on Monday morning for remand.

FIR No. 28/2023 was registered on January 18 this year at the Site A police station of Kemari District, Karachi, under sections 380, 427, 324, 149, 147, 148, 186 and 506 B, besides anti-terrorism. Section 7 of the ATA is also imposed.

The case was registered on the complaint of DC office employee Kashif Mubeen, in which PTI leaders Ali Zaidi, Bilal Ghaffar, Attaullah, Saeed Afridi, Shabbir Qureshi, Haider Khalil, Hazrat Khalil, Islam Khalil, Burhan, Tariq. Khan, Miraj, Momin Khan, Qadir Pathan, Idris Afridi, Fayyaz Yousafzai, Chaudhry Zubair, Qaiser Awan and Dua Khan are accused of leading the activists armed with arms, sticks and sticks.

These persons ransacked and ransacked the office of Deputy Commissioner Kemari. During this, many people were injured.
