Beijing: Xi Jinping, who has been elected as the President of China for the third time in a row, has nominated his confidant Li Qiang as the Prime Minister.
According to the world news organization, the name of the new prime minister of China has been announced. Chinese President Xi Jinping, after taking the oath of office for the third time, announced the nomination of “Li Qiang” as the Prime Minister in his address to the Parliament session.
Parliament unanimously voted in favor of Li Qiang as prime minister. Not a single member objected. Thus, along with the President, the Prime Minister was also unanimously elected.

Li Qiang, 63, a former Shanghai city chief of the ruling Communist Party, is considered a close associate of the Chinese president. In addition to being the provincial president of Zhejiang province, he also served as Xi Jinping’s chief of staff from 2004 to 2007.
The newly elected Li Qiang gained international fame for strictly implementing the zero-tolerance policy in Shanghai and played an important role in making Shanghai a successful industrial zone.
The outgoing Prime Minister “Li Keqiang” held the post for ten consecutive years from 2013 to 2023 and congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister Li Keqiang with a hug.
