Riyadh: The world’s second highest Saudi flag is flying in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The most modern electrical system is also installed in the flag pole.
According to Urdu News, the Saudi flag installed at an intersection of Al-Andalus highway in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia is waving with its air, it is currently the second highest flag in the world.
The height of the flagpole is 170 meters while the size of the flag is 1635 meters, 12 steel poles have been used to manufacture the flagpole which are tightly connected.
The length of the platform on which the pool is installed is 28 meters.
The pool is equipped with a state-of-the-art electrical system with sensors that instantly inform the control unit about the wind speed and direction as well as the relative humidity in the air.
At the extreme height of the pool, a warning light for ships is kept on at all times while the pool is also equipped with an automatic fire fighting system.
On the flagpole’s platform are swords and a palm tree, symbols of the kingdom, while 13 light poles are arranged to illuminate the sides.
Apart from this, large Saudi flags have been hoisted in Tabuk’s King Fahd Road, Saka City in Al-Jawf Region, Jazan and other areas.
