Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has also decided to challenge the decision to deploy Rangers in Lahore.
According to the sources of Tehreek-e-Insaf, they will first apply to the Election Commission, if the process is not successful, then they will approach the High Court. An application against the appointment of Rangers has been prepared.
It has been stated in the petition that Section 144 and the deployment of Rangers after the election schedule is against the law, the implementation of Section 144 and the deployment of Rangers has been imposed only to stop the Tehreek-e-Insaf rally. Other events are allowed in the city, but PTI is not being allowed to hold a rally.

According to the request, the route of the rally was also changed on the PSL response of the administration, Tehreek-e-Insaaf is a political party and it is against the constitution to prevent political events.
It will be requested that Section 144 and the deployment of Rangers to stop the rally of Tehreek-e-Insaaf be declared illegal.
It should be noted that the caretaker Punjab government has imposed Section 144 to stop the PTI rally while the Satha Rangers have also been called to deal with any untoward incident.
