Karachi: A speeding car lost control of the driver and overturned near the Defense Phase 2 Shell petrol pump and hit a pole, resulting in the death of a person in the car and injuries to a woman.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as 24-year-old Musa Khan, while the injured woman was identified as 20-year-old Maria Dokhtar Adnan. The body of the deceased and the injured woman were shifted to Jinnah Hospital by Edhi Ambulance.
According to Edhi sources, there were two boys and a woman in the car at the time of the accident, one boy was killed and the woman was injured due to a head injury while the other boy was slightly injured who came with him to the hospital but escaped from the spot.
According to sources, the woman who was injured in the accident was stopped by the police in the MLO’s office to give a statement.
In her statement, the missing woman first said that she was from Malaysia, but after some time she identified herself as China, then England and Germany, while all she had to say about the dead boy was that she had a friend but she does not know where he lives and what he does.
The search for the relatives of the deceased youth has been started, while the body has been shifted to Chipa Mortuary after post-mortem.
