88 officers of the Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency FIA are being paid lump sum salary for more than six months.
According to the sources, lump sum salary will be paid due to one year extension of employment.
The tenure extension period is based on September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023.
Officers were given contract employment in 2019 under NR 3C Project Phase III.
The contracts of these officers posted throughout Pakistan for many years are extended after intervals.
Officers in grades 16 to 18 also lose salary during the period of non-renewal of contract.
These officers include Deputy Director of Investigation, Assistant Director, AD Forensic, AD Hardware.
The officers also include AD Network, Software, AD Legal, AD Accounts, Office Superintendent.
Other officers include cybercrime analysts and inspectors.
