The Holi ceremony was held in Karachi under the Pakistan Hindu Council. Besides the Hindu community, delegations from the United States and the United Arab Emirates also participated in the ceremony and conveyed the message of religious harmony.
In this Holi ceremony held at the home of Ramesh Kumar, head of Pakistan Hindu Council, where important personalities including American Political Officer Michael Gibbs, Emirati Consul General posted in Karachi Bakhit Atiq Al Ramiti and university students played Holi.
Ramesh Kumar welcomed the participants. On this occasion, he said that celebrating happiness together increases intimacy.
The delegation of USA and UAE also danced and scattered colors of Holi. 6-year-old Lisa Patel enthralled the audience with her stunning performance.
The participants said that Holi is a celebration of the victory of good over evil and when everyone joins in the celebration, the festival becomes a symbol of religious harmony.
